Description:
Science Olympiad is a hands-on competition, with 23 competitive events in all areas of sciences including biology, earth science, chemistry, physics, problem solving, and technology. Students study and work on their events throughout the school year. These events change from year to year but can include tower building, bottle rockets, robots, physics lab, forensics, human anatomy, chemistry lab, disease detectives and many more. Fifteen students compete at each tournament, and each student works on about three to four events throughout the year. The events are very intense and take months of preparation. In SO, we learn the meaning of working as a team. Come join us!
