Chromebook Distribution

Students who do not have a device or have spoken to Mr. Nelloms about a replacement will need to come to the Lakeside High School Cafeteria on August 12th. If students have lost or had their Chromebook stolen, they will need to provide replacement cost or a police report.

You must stay in your car until directed and a staff member will assist you.  Please make sure to have masks as we will follow the CDC and DeKalb County School health guidelines. Please visit the Lakeside HS website and fill out the User Agreement for the Chromebooks online.  Both student and parent need to sign.  If you do not have access to a computer, a hard copy will be available at the school.

Chromebook Distribution Schedule:  Cafeteria at Lakeside High School 

                8:00 – 10:00      9th grade students

                10:00 – 11:00    New students, transfer students, or Spanish speaking families/students

                12:00 – 1:00       10th grade students

                1:00 – 2:00         11th grade students

                2:00 – 3:00         12th grade students

Yearbook Distribution:  In front of the Gym and Gym concession stand

Yearbooks are in! We are excited to distribute the 2019-2020 yearbook this Wednesday, August 12th.  

Distribution will be in front of the gym.  

A list will be provided to check for your child's name prior to getting in line for the books. 

For returning students, you will drive by the front of the gym to receive your book. 

Please have the student's name written on a piece of paper displayed in the front windshield. 

Someone will check your child's name off the list before instructing you to open your truck for placement. 

We will not be selling extra copies that day.

Good afternoon Lakeside Family!

We are looking forward to welcoming you back and having a successful 2020-2021 school year.  We understand there may be a need for some schedule adjustments for your student.  We have a process in place to handle these requests.  Schedule changes do take some time to complete and our goal is to address all requests within the first 2 weeks of school.  A link to the schedule change request form is on the Lakeside High School main webpage, under Quick Links.  The form will give details for allowable reasons to change a schedule.

Please make sure that all the information is accurate and complete on the form.  Once you submit the form, it will be directed to your student’s counselor for review.  Their counselor will reach out if there are any questions.  Thank you for your patience and partnership.
