Quiz bowl is a game in which two teams compete head-to-head to answer questions from all areas of knowledge, including history, literature, science, fine arts, current events, popular culture, sports, and more.

FCCLA

FCCLA - Family, Career, Community Leaders of America, founded in 1945, is a dynamic and effective national student organization that helps young men and women become leaders and address important personal, family, work, and societal issues through family and consumer science education. In the 2019-2020 school year, Georgia FCCLA had 30,177 members in 297 chapters. 

FCCLA offers members the opportunity to expand their leadership potential and develop skills for life - planning, goal setting, problem solving, decision making, and interpersonal communication - necessary in the home and workplace.

Mission

Mu Alpha Theta (Math Honor Society) was created to provide high-level math tutors to Lakeside students in need of assistance. Mu Alpha Theta promotes camaraderie among members who have similar interests and creates a safe-space for students who are struggling in any math course.

Members must have Advanced Algebra or Acc. Geometry/Advanced Algebra credit, and an 85+ in each math course if gifted and/or accelerated, at least a 90+ in each math course if college prep.

To be determined by officers at our first officers’ meeting. In years past, we met 3rd Tuesdays of each month. This we will either continue this or meet via Microsoft Teams on 3rd Tuesdays at 2:15 or on 3rd Wednesdays time TBA

 






 

Muslim Student Association

Mission

MSA is a club open to all where students discuss Islamic topics from either the Quran or from modern times. Students discuss it to get a better understanding of the religion and reduce misconceptions about the belief.

National Art Honor Society/Art Club

National Honor Society (NHS)
