Ms. Lamoly is originally from Boston but has lived all over the country. She has a BA and MA in English from Lynchburg College and San Diego State University, respectively, and an Ed.M. from the Harvard University Graduate School of Education. She taught English in Lexington, Massachusetts for four years, and moved to Atlanta in 2018. Before teaching high school, Ms. Lamoly taught at San Diego State University, and directed a pre-college summer program at the University of Virginia. Before teaching, Ms. Lamoly spent many years working in advocacy and development for national and local LGBT organizations. She loves to take real-world experience and show students that they can do anything with writing and critical thinking skills!
