FOOTBALL

The football program is led by Head Coach Morris Starr. Coach Starr was named the 14th Head Football Coach in program history at the end of previous school year. 

From 1965-1997, the Lakeside Football program was consistently ranked among the best football teams in Georgia. During that thirty-two year period, Lakeside never experienced a losing season. No other team in Georgia could make that claim. The Vikings won state championships in 1970, 1972, and 1991 and were state runner-up in 1974 and 1996. Lakeside won Region titles in 1967, 1970, 1972, 1974, 1975, 1978, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1990, and 1991.
