School Council Election Monday, August 25

Local School Councils were established by the Georgia Legislature several years ago to ensure shared decision making in our public schools. Lakeside's Council is comprised of a principal, two certified teachers, two parent/guardian business persons, four parent/guardians, one non-parent business community member, and student representative(s). 

This year's election will be held Monday, August 25, 2014 from 8 a.m. - 7 p.m. to fill two open parent seats and one open parent business seat on the Council. Each seat is a two year term. If you are interested in serving or wish to nominate a candidate, please write a brief bio (no more than one page double spaced), and enclose an optional photograph in support of your nominee. Please submit an electronic copy to Mr. Clyne no later than noon on Friday, August 22, 2014.
