Title I Parent Survey

Title I, Part A is part of the No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Act of 2001, which stemmed from the Elementary and Secondary Education (ESEA) was written to improve educational equity for students from lower-income families by providing federal funds to school districts that serve these students. ESEA is the law that governs Title I, Part A.

The funds are provided to help the most at-risk children meet the challenging State academic achievement standards. The most at-risk students are defined as those students not meeting the State academic achievement standards, regardless of whether they receive free or reduced priced meals or not.

Receiving these funds will allow our school to provide supplemental services to those students not meeting the State academic achievement standards. Your participation in the survey will help us know the things that you think are important to help improve student performance at Lakeside.

Thanks in advance for your participation, we appreciate your input!
